2022 TREK FUEL EX 8 XT MOUNTAIN BIKE
With a robust aluminium frame and reliable Shimano components, Trek’s Fuel EX 8 XT Mountain Bike is the archetypal Trail Bike, ready to perform on any trail or terrain. 130mm of travel at the back and 140mm at the front from FOX shock units keep the wheels in contact with the ground to maximise grip and effortlessly soak up bigger hits whilst the Knock Block design prevents the fork from hitting the frame in the event of a crash. The geometry can be switched between slacker and more stable, and steeper with quicker handling by flipping over the Mino Link in the shock linkage, allowing the bike to be fine-tuned to rider preference or usage.

Just one step below Shimano’s top-tier groupset, the XT range is renowned for combining high performance with fantastic reliability and durability, making it ideal for all-mountain riding. Equally well respected, the Deore M6120 hydraulic disc brakes provide control and power with the Bontrager Line Dropper seatpost adding extra confidence on steeper, trickier descents. Both tyres and wheelset are tubeless-ready and the use of either 27.5” or 29” wheels depending on frame size keeps handling consistent for all riders.
